Day three was another full schedule of team activities, beginning with a morning practice. Prior to practice’s start, it was announced that Oliver Wahlstrom would be joining the U.S. National Junior Team preliminary roster. All 29 players took part in drills, followed by a team lunch.

Later in the afternoon, the U.S. National Junior Team faced off against USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program Under-18 Team in a controlled scrimmage. The controlled scrimmage, featuring two 24-minute halves with additional four-on-four and three-on-three time, gave John Vanbiesbrouck and his staff an opportunity to evaluate the 29 players competing for the final 23-player roster.
