  • Scored his first career goal on December 7, 2014 with the San Jose Sharks against the Edmonton Oilers

  • Served as an alternate captain for both the Charlotte Checkers (AHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes) and Rochester Americans (AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres)

Collegiate Career

Played for three seasons with Western Michigan University (CCHA) from 2009-12

  • Accumulated 20+ points in his sophomore (21) and junior (24) seasons, collecting 11 goals the latter season

Junior Career

Played for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders (USHL) during the 2008-09 season, and the Texas Tornado (NAHL) in the 2007-08 season

  • Appeared in 57 games for the RoughRiders, scoring four goals and adding six assists
  • Played in 58 games for the Tornado in his first junior hockey season, collecting 14 points
