Member of the Portland Winterhawks Sled Hockey program, an organization he helped create in partnership with Labatt USA and its "Pass It Forward" initiative

  • Prior to Portland, Sweeney spent time with the San Antonio Rampage and Dallas Stars sled hockey programs. He was coached in San Antonio by Lonnie Hannah, a former U.S. Paralympian, and helped the Stars capture the 2012 USA Hockey Sled Classic Division A Championship, presented by the NHL
