Women's team returns to action on Friday against China

KRASNOYARSK, Russia – Today, the U.S. Women’s National University Team fell to Russia, 10-0, in its fourth game at the 2019 Winter World University Games. With the loss, the U.S. (1-0-0-3/W-OTW-OTL-L) ranks fourth in Group A.

“We're looking towards the future” said Shelley Looney, head coach of the 2019 U.S. Women’s National University Team. “We're looking forward to our game against China to advance to the semifinals.”

Team USA continues preliminary-round action Friday (March 8) against China at 4:00 a.m. ET. 

NOTES: At the 2019 Winter World University Games, Team USA is competing in Group A alongside the Canada, China, Japan, Russia and Switzerland.
