Day three of the Boys Select 17 Player Development Camp was the first day without practices, and the second day of game competition. This left the door open for a lot of team bonding. Team Kelly was able to go play a game of kickball, keeping things light and having fun playing a different sport.
The teams also attended a presentation on nutrition, with Grey, Forest, Gold and Black attending in the morning and White, Royal, Columbia, Kelly, Red and Navy attending the evening session. The points of emphasis were to learn how to properly fuel your body for maximum performance.
The games were action packed, and a recap a box score of each game can be found below. Our highlight of the day came from Cameron Berg, who wasted no time putting the puck in the back of the net in the first game of the day,

At the USA Hockey Player Development camps, each team has a team leader that is responsible for a number of different things, including coordinating a daily schedule and team bonding exercises for their team.
Eric Hildreth is the team leader for Team Red, and he is in his 15th year doing the USA Hockey Player Development Camp. The Virginia native coached hockey for 30 years.
"I do these camps to give back to hockey. I stopped coaching hockey a couple of years ago, so this is the only hockey I do at this point. For one week a year, I get to be involved again, so it's always a great time."
