Two shutouts in today's results; Tomorrow's games set for 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. CT

The players of the Girls U-18 Select Player Development Camp arrived in St. Cloud, Minnesota yesterday afternoon, joining the Girls 15 Camp who have been here since late last week. The girls checked into their living spaces, performed some dryland tests and joined the Girls 15 Camp for a conversation with gold medalist Kendall Coyne Schofield. Coyne Schofield talked about her experiences at Player Development Camps, becoming the first woman to compete in an NHL All-Star Skills Competition, and what it means to represent Team USA on the global stage.

The girls’ second day on the St. Cloud State campus began bright and early with a lecture and brief warmup with U.S. Women’s National Team lead trainer Sheri Walters and strength and condition coach Sam Menton. Walter and Menton taught the girls techniques to advance basic warmups and stretches to activate otherwise unused muscles.

Meetings and chalk talks took up the early afternoon, followed by a headshot session and team photos with the photographer.

The U-18 Selects hit the ice in a game scenario for the first time at this year’s Development Camp at around 4 p.m. local time. Results of today’s games can be seen below. The Girls 15 Camp also played games today – the scores from those contests can be found here.

The players’ first full day wrapped up with a group activity out at the campus field house with the Girls 15 Camp.

Today's Results
