Today's Recaps

Gold 4, Forest 3: Gold followed up yesterday’s come-from-behind win over Black with another late push today to top Forest and pick up their third win at camp. Goals from Frank D’Ancona and Brian Grant in the final 2:38 erased a one-goal deficit and gave Gold the victory. Ian Spencer and Christian Kocsis also scored for Gold, while Tyler Duke tallied two assists. Gold finishes tied with Grey for the top spot in camp after pool play with eight points.

White 4, Purple 3 (SO): Both Joseph Peters and Connor Welsh notched two points to lead White to their first victory of camp. Purple held a 3-1 lead, but White managed to find the back of the net twice in the final four minutes to tie things up at the end of regulation. In the shootout, Welsh, Devin Kaplan and Lucas Buchanan converted to give White the win.

Red 4, Black 3: Tallies from Jaksen Panzer, Ryan Schelling and Braedon Ford had Red leading 3-1 after the opening half. Although Black made a late push to tie the game, Red was able to hold on for the win. Spencer Sova picked up two helpers in the victory and Tyler Muszelik stood tall in net, stopping 21 of 22 shots faced.

Royal 8, Kelly 3: Zion Green’s four-point (3G, 1A) effort led Royal to a win in the fourth game of the day. Evan Konyen also chipped in with three points (2G, 1A), while Brasen Boser added two assists for Royal. Netminders Trent Wiemken and Austin McNicholas combined for 18 saves on 21 shots in the win.

Navy 8, Orange 4: The game was tied after the opening 25 minutes, but Navy rattled off four straight goals in the second half to earn the victory over Orange. Three-point efforts from Zach Filak (3A), Nick Pierre (1G, 2A) and Jake Murphy (1G, 2A) fueled Navy’s offensive attack. In total, 14 players tallied a point in the win. Orange’s Rutger McGroarty registered two goals and an assist.

Grey 5, Columbia 4 (SO): Columbia scored three goals in the final 15 minutes, including the game-tying goal with :40 to play, but shootout goals from Vinny Borgesi and Frank Nazar gave Grey the win. With the victory, Grey claimed their spot in tomorrow’s camp championship, where they’ll face Gold. Two-point efforts from Benjamin Robertson and Zachary Cline, both tallying two assists, led the way on the scoresheet for Grey.
