Patrick Kane (Buffalo, N.Y.), who captained the 2019 U.S. Men’s National Team and is the all-time points leader for that team, leads all players participating this weekend by making his ninth NHL All-Star appearance. U.S. players selected to their first All-Star game include Jake Guentzel (Omaha, Neb.), Brady Tkachuk (St. Louis, Mo.), Matthew Tkachuk (St. Louis, Mo.), Quinn Hughes (Orlando, Fla.), T.J. Oshie (Mt. The Metropolitan Division leads the way with seven Americans on their roster, including Guentzel and Kyle Palmieri (Smithtown, N.Y.), who will not be playing due to injury. Three of the four defenseman in that division are Americans: John Carlson (Natick, Mass.), Jones and Slavin.
