Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m. CT/9 p.m. ET at Centene Community Ice Center

Team USA and Canada will rekindle the rivalry tonight in game one of a two-game exhibition series at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Puck drop is set for 8 p.m. local time (9 p.m. ET) and the game will be streamed live on HockeyTV.

Both games of the two-game series with Canada will be played under the lights at "The Barn," the covered outdoor rink at Centene Community Ice Center. Tickets for the games can be purchased here.

The 20 players competing for Team USA in this weekend's Border Series are vying for a spot on the 2021-22 U.S. National Sled Team and the series will be utilized as a final evaluation for those athletes. Click here for the full Border Series roster.

Tonight's meeting will be the first time the U.S. and Canada face off since the gold-medal game of the 2021 Para Ice Hockey World Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Two goals and an assist from Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) and three assists from Jack Wallace (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) helped the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team earn a 5-1 victory over Canada to claim its second-straight and fifth-overall world championship title.

With an abbreviated 2020-21 schedule due to COVID-19, the U.S. and Canada only met twice last season, both times on the world championship stage. The U.S. suffered its only loss of the season to Canada in the preliminary round of the Para Ice Hockey World Championships, 2-1, but Team USA went on to defeat Canada in the gold-medal game.

The two rivals have both been training in St. Louis all week in preparation for this weekend's Border Series.
