The U.S. sled team and Canada will face off again tonight in the 2021 Border Series finale at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Tonight's puck drop is slated for 8 p.m. local time (9 p.m. ET) and the game will take place on "The Barn," the outdoor rink at the facility. Tickets for tonight's game are available here. GAME ONE RECAP
After coming back to tie the game 2-2 at the end of the second period, the U.S. fell to Canada 4-2 on Friday night at Centene Community Ice Center. Trailing Canada 2-0 in the second period, the U.S. scored two goals in 23 seconds at the very end of the middle frame to even the score 2-2 going into the second intermission. Josh Pauls (Green Brook, N.J.) and Josh Misiewicz (La Grange, Ill.) each scored for Team USA, while Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.), Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.), Malik Jones (Aurora, Colo.) and David Eustace (Stoneham, Mass.) each picked up an assist.
OUTDOOR HOCKEY LIVIN'
Both games of the two-game Border Series with Canada were hosted on the outdoor rink, "The Barn," at Centene Community Ice Center. The covered rink offers a unique experience to fans and can hold well over 4,000 people.
