My Why Tour Resumes Tomorrow In St. Louis

U.S. Women’s National Team To Face Canada Twice; Autograph Sessions To Follow Games

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The My Why Tour, presented by Toyota, and featuring the U.S. Women’s National Team, resumes this week with Team USA facing Canada on both Wednesday (Dec. 15) and Friday (Dec. 17) at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri, a St. Louis suburb. Opening faceoff for both contests is 7 p.m. CT and tickets are available online here

The games are the fifth and sixth of the My Why Tour, with each team having won twice over the first four contests.

Fans will have the chance to see U.S. stars Hilary KnightBrianna DeckerKendall Coyne SchofieldLee Stecklein and many others as one of the greatest rivalries in sport continues.

The game features the top two women’s teams in the world and is part of preparations for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

WEDNESDAY - CEREMONIAL PUCK DROP

Prior to Wednesday’s game, Olympian Shelley Looney, who scored the game-winning goal to propel Team USA to gold at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games, will drop the ceremonial first puck.

FRIDAY - HENSLEY TO BE HONORED

Prior to Friday’s game, Nicole Hensley, current member of the U.S. Women’s National Team and 2018 Olympic gold medalist, will be saluted prior to the game in recognition of her upcoming induction to the Lindenwood Sports Hall of Fame. Hensley, who played goal for the Lions, will be with Team USA and not available for the formal induction celebration, which is slated for January.

AUTOGRAPHS FOLLOWING THE GAME

Following both games, fans will have a chance to get autographs from selected members of the U.S. Women’s National Team in the lobby of Centene Community Ice Center. Masks covering nose and mouth will be required for the autograph session.

LIVE TELEVISION

The game will be televised live in the U.S. by NHL Network with Kenzie Lalonde and Cheryl Pounder calling the action.
