COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey announced the 23 players who have been selected to the U.S. Women’s National Team that will face Canada in the opening three contests of the 2022-23 Rivalry Series in November.
The roster features 16 players who took home silver for Team USA at the 2022 IIHF Women’s World Championship in August, including Hannah Brandt (Vadnais Heights, Minn.), Alex Carpenter (North Reading, Mass.), Kendall Coyne Schofield (Palos Heights, Ill.), Jincy Dunne (O’Fallon, Mo.), Aerin Frankel(Chappaqua, N.Y.), Rory Guilday (Minnetonka, Minn.), Savannah Harmon (Downers Grove, Ill.), Nicole Hensley (Lakewood, Colo.), Megan Keller (Farmington Hills, Mich.), Amanda Kessel (Madison, Wis.), Hilary Knight (Sun Valley, Idaho), Kelly Pannek (Plymouth, Minn.), Abby Roque (Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.), Hayley Scamurra (Getzville, N.Y.), Maddie Rooney (Andover, Minn.) and Lee Stecklein (Roseville, Minn.).
Riley Brengman (China Township, Mich.), Becca Gilmore (Wayland, Mass.), Kelsey King (Elk River, Minn.), Maureen Murphy (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Gabby Rosenthal (Blaine, Minn.), and Haley Winn (Rochester, N.Y.) are all slated to make their U.S. Women’s National Team debut in the series. Clair DeGeorge (Anchorage, Alaska) will also skate with the team.

2022-23 RIVALRY SERIES STAFF ANNOUNCED
John Wroblewski (Neenah, Wis.) returns as head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team after guiding the squad during the 2022 IIHF Women’s World Championship, as do assistant coach Josh Sciba (Westland, Mich.) and goaltending coach Alli Altman (Eagan, Minn.). Shari Dickerman (Richmond, Minn.), who most recently serves as an assistant coach with the U.S. Women's Collegiate Select Team this past August, will join the staff as an assistant coach.
Other staff include Katie Million, general manager; Nick Bryant, hockey operations manager; Sean Ferrell, video coach; Dr. Jamie Schlueter, team physician; Katie Homan, athletic trainer; Demarcus Long, massage therapist; Kourtney Menches, strength and conditioning coach; Shelly Guzman Johnson, nutritionist; Jeff Mobley and Scott Aldrich, equipment managers; Melissa Katz, communications manager.
