USA Hockey announces dates for 2023 Player Development Camps

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today dates and locations for its 2023 BioSteel Girls and Boys Player Development Camps.

Miami University to Host BioSteel Girls Player Development Camps for First Time

The BioSteel Girls Player Development Camps – for the top players from ages 15-17 throughout the country -- will be hosted by Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

"We are excited to host USA Hockey's BioSteel Player Development Camps on our campus this summer” said Kaitlyn Johnson, women’s ACHA program general manager, and Jim Stearns, women’s ACHA program recruiting coordinator, at Miami University. “Miami University has excellent facilities and a location that, we feel, will enhance the experience for the players, coaches, administrators, and parents. We want to thank USA Hockey for giving us this opportunity and look forward to serving the players, coaches, and parents this summer."

“We’re excited to bring our BioSteel Girls Player Development Camps to Miami,” said Kristen Wright, player development manager at USA Hockey, “They have a long-standing collegiate hockey tradition, including their strong ACHA women’s program, and we know their facilities and staff will make it a terrific experience for our athletes, staff and families.”

“We’d also like to thank St. Cloud State University, who for many years has been such a welcoming host for our camps.”

2023 Camps

BioSteel Boys Player Development Camps Return to Amherst, N.Y.

The BioSteel Boys Player Development Camps – for the top players from ages 15-17 throughout the U.S. -- will take place at Northtown Center in Amherst, New York.

“We look forward to returning to Amherst,” said Mark Tabrum, director of youth hockey for USA Hockey. “The chance to gather our top players from across the country and provide them an environment to compete and interact with the other players in their age group is always one of the great highlights of the year.”

NOTES: A group of players will be selected from the BioSteel Boys 17 camp to participate in Hlinka Gretzky Cup tryout camp  … The U.S. Under-17 Men’s Select Team that will compete in the 2023 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament will be selected from those attending the BioSteel Boys 16 Camp … From the BioSteel Girls Under-18 Select Camp, approximately 32 players will be invited to the 2023 Under-18 National Team Festival.
