COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three-time Olympian Brianna Decker (Dousman, Wis.) has been added to the coaching staff of the 2023 U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team, USA Hockey announced today. The squad will compete in the 2023 IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship in Östersund, Sweden, from Jan. 8-15.

Decker returns to the bench as an assistant coach after serving in the same capacity for the gold medal-winning 2020 U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team and the silver medal-winning 2019 U18 women’s squad.

As a player, Decker helped the U.S. to three Olympic medals, including gold in 2018 and silver in 2014 and 2022. She also skated at eight IIHF Women’s World Championships (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021), taking home gold six times.
