COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Players from across the United States and Canada will be in Eagle, River, Wisconsin, this weekend for the 17th annual USA Hockey Pond Hockey National Championships at the Rinks at the Derby Complex in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

“We’re excited to welcome players from coast-to-coast for what is one of the most highly anticipated events on the calendar every year,” said Katie Holmgren, tournament director and director of program services for USA Hockey. “This event has a storied tradition that sells out in minutes each summer when registration goes live, and we can’t thank our local Eagle River volunteers for their tireless work to make this the iconic event it has become.”

This year’s event will include men’s and women’s divisions, including 231 teams from 31 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces with more than 420 games.

As part of the weekend celebration, a check-in celebration at the Derby Complex on Feb. 9 will include expanded concessions, music, and a cornhole tournament.

Team beer will be provided by Coors for this year’s event.

Championship games in each of the 23 divisions are slated for Sunday (Feb. 12) beginning at 9:30 a.m. MT. CLICK HERE for the most up-to-date information on the USA Hockey Pond Hockey National Championships.
