U.S. Women’s National Team Evaluation Camp Set For March 27-31 in Blaine, Minn.

Roster for 2023 IIHF Women's World Championship to be selected April 1

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced the 46 athletes who have been invited to the 2023 U.S. Women’s National Team Evaluation Camp, which will take place March 27-31 at the NSC Super Rink in Blaine, Minn. 

The 2023 U.S. Women’s National Team will be named at the conclusion of camp and will compete at the IIHF Women’s World Championship in Brampton, Ontario, April 5-16.

Players will be split into two teams of 23 and will compete in practices and scrimmages during the five-day camp.

The U.S. Women’s National Team will practice at the Super Rink on April 1 (time TBD), before traveling up to Ontario. 

NOTES: The final roster for the U.S. Women’s National Team is expected to be announced Saturday, April 1 … John Wroblewski (Neenah, Wis.) is the head coach of the 2023 U.S. Women’s National Team. Josh Sciba (Westland, Mich.), head women’s ice hockey coach at Union College, Shari Dickerman (Richmond, Minn.), women’s hockey assistant coach at Minnesota State University and Brent Hill (Hamden, Conn.), women’s hockey assistant coach at Quinnipiac University will serve as assistant coaches. Alli Altmann (Eagan, Minn.) will be the goaltending coach.
