Mikey Eyssimont Added to 2023 U.S. Men’s National Team Roster

Will arrive in Tampere tomorrow

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Forward Mikey Eyssimont (Littleton, Colo.), who finished the 2022-23 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning, has been added to the roster of the U.S. Men’s National Team that will compete in the upcoming 2023 IIHF Men’s World Championship it was announced today by USA Hockey.

Eyssimont spent time with three different NHL teams in 2022-23, including the Winnipeg Jets (19GP, 1-4—5), San Jose Sharks (20GP, 3-5—8) and Tampa Bay Lightning (15GP, 1-1—2). He also played nine games (2G, 7A) with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

The Littleton, Colo., native played college hockey at St. Cloud State University and is making his first-ever appearance as a member of a U.S. National Team at any level.

Eyssimont is expected to arrive in Tampere, Finland, tomorrow afternoon.

The U.S. Men’s National Team opens play in the IIHF Men’s World Championship Friday (May 12) at 4:20 p.m. local/9:20 a.m. ET and all U.S. games in the tournament can be seen live in the U.S. on NHL Network.
