GAME DAY | U.S. National Sled Team Takes on Czechia in Para Hockey Cup Semifinals Today

QUISPAMSIS, N.B. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will take Czechia here today in the Para Hockey Cup semifinals. Puck drop is set for 2 p.m. ET at the Qplex, and the game will be streamed live here

Team USA enters this game unbeaten with a 3-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record after preliminary round play. These teams faced off in the tournament opener on Sunday (Dec. 3), where the U.S. skated to a 5-2 win. 

Team USA also skated to an 11-1 win over China on Monday (Dec. 4), and a 5-0 victory over Canada on Wednesday (Dec. 6). Czechia comes into the game with an 0-0-0-3 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record through the preliminary round.

Team USA entered the tournament with a 5-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season after winning the IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia, in October. The U.S. has won a record nine Para Hockey Cups all-time, including seven consecutive tournament titles. 

These two teams have faced off in 14 contests all-time, with the U.S. holding a record of 13-0-1-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L).
