QUISPAMSIS, N.B. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will face off against Canada here today in the Para Hockey Cup title game. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. ET at the Qplex. The game will be televised in the U.S. tomorrow (Dec. 10) on NHL Network at 11 a.m. ET.

Team USA enters this game unbeaten with a 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record after beating Czechia 6-0 in the semifinals yesterday (Dec. 8). The U.S. had goals from six different players, and Griffin LaMarre (Haverhill, Mass.) recorded a shutout.

These two teams faced off in the preliminary round on Wednesday (Dec. 6), where the U.S. skated to a 5-0 win. Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) had four tallies and Jen Lee (San Francisco, Calif.) picked up his second shutout of the tournament in goal.

Farmer’s 14 points (7g, 7a) are the most for any player in the tournament through four games. Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.) follows closely behind with 11 points (4g, 7a), ranking second among all players.

The U.S. is seeking its 10th Para Hockey Cup title all-time, and eighth-consecutive championship in this tournament. Team USA and Canada have faced off in 10 Para Hockey Cup finals since the inaugural event in 2007, with the U.S. winning eight of those contests. At the 2022 Para Hockey Cup in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Team USA skated to a 5-1 win over Canada in the title game.

These two teams have played 114 contests all-time across all competitions, with the U.S. holding a record of 45-12-7-48-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T).
