GAME DAY: U.S. Women’s Development Sled Hockey Team Set to Play Canada in Game One of 2024 Sled Series

MINOT, N.D. -- The U.S. Women’s Development Sled Hockey Team will take on Canada here today in game one of the 2024 Sled Series at the MAYSA Arena in Minot, N.D. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. ET. The game will be live streamed for free on

The 2024 Sled Series marks the first time ever that the U.S. Women’s Development Team will compete alongside the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team at an international event. Each team will play three games against Canada at the 2024 Sled Series, with contests today, Friday (March 15), and Saturday (March 16). 

The U.S. enters this contest with an unbeaten 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season after taking home then title at the 2023 Women’s World Challenge in Green Bay, Wis., in September. The U.S. beat Canada twice, including a 2-0 win in the championship game, to earn its second-consecutive championship. All six games will be live streamed for free on

Since the inaugural Women’s World Challenge in 2022, these teams have met four times, with Team USA holding a 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record.
