CALGARY, Alberta -- The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team is set to take on Canada here tonight at 6:00 p.m. MT in the second of three games of the 2024 April Sled Series at the WinSport Arena. The game will stream live here

Team USA skated to a 5-1 victory in the opening contest of the series on Wednesday afternoon. Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) led the way with two goals and two assists in the win, notching his 300th career point, becoming the first American sled hockey player to reach that milestone.

The U.S. currently holds a 14-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season, which includes a three-game series sweep of Canada in March in Minot, N.D. Team USA also captured the IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia, in October, and the Para Hockey Cup in Quispamsis, N.B. in December, finishing each tournament with a 5-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record.

First established in 2004-05, the Sled Series between the United States and Canada is a near-annual competition between the North American rivals. The U.S. trails Canada 20-5-5-26-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) in 57 series meetings all-time.

These two teams have played 119 contests all-time across all competitions, with the U.S. holding a record of 50-12-7-48-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T).

Game three of the series is tomorrow, with puck drop set for 10:30 a.m. MT at WinSport Arena. The game will stream live here
