COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today the 21 players who will make up the U.S. Women’s National Team that will face Canada in the final two games of the 2024-25 Rivalry Series in February.
The roster includes 17 players who represented Team USA in the first three games of the Rivalry Series back in November, including Cayla Barnes (Eastvale, Calif./Montreal Victorie), Hannah Bilka (Coppell, Texas/Boston Fleet), Alex Carpenter (North Reading, Mass./New York Sirens), Kendall Coyne Schofield (Palos Heights, Ill./Minnesota Frost), Britta Curl-Salemme (Bismarck, N.D./Minnesota Frost), Aerin Frankel (Chappaqua, N.Y./Boston Fleet), Savannah Harmon (Downers Grove, Ill./Toronto Sceptres), Taylor Heise (Lake City, Minn./Minnesota Frost), Nicole Hensley (Lakewood, Colo./Minnesota Frost), Gabbie Hughes (Lino Lakes, Minn./Ottawa Charge), Megan Keller (Farmington Hills, Mich./Boston Fleet), Hilary Knight (Sun Valley, Idaho/Boston Fleet), Kelly Pannek (Plymouth, Minn./Minnesota Frost), Gwyneth Philips (Athens, Ohio/Ottawa Charge), Hayley Scamurra (Buffalo, N.Y./Toronto Sceptres), Ally Simpson (Frisco, Texas/New York Sirens) and Grace Zumwinkle (Excelsior, Minn./Minnesota Frost).
Jesse Compher (Northbrook, Ill./Toronto Sceptres) and Anna Wilgren (Hudson, Wis./Montreal Victorie), who both skated for Team USA at the 2023-24 Rivalry Series, along with Gabby Rosenthal (Blaine, Minn./New York Sirens) who represented the U.S. at the 2022-23 Rivalry Series, will return to the ice for the U.S.
Defender Sydney Bard (New Hartford, N.Y./Boston Fleet) is slated to make her U.S. Women’s National Team debut.

The February Rivalry Series games will take place at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Feb. 6 and at Credit Union Place in Summerside, P.E.I., on Feb. 8.
Canada enters the final two games of the Rivalry Series with a 2-1 advantage. The U.S. won game one by a 7-2 count in San Jose, California, on Nov. 6 before Canada took the next two games, with a 5-4 shootout win on Nov. 8 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and a 4-1 victory in Boise, Idaho, on Nov. 10.
NOTES: The Rivalry Series was created by USA Hockey and Hockey Canada in 2018-19 and been conducted in four previous seasons. In 2018-19, three games were played (2-1, Canada); in 2019-20 the teams played five times (4-1, USA), while seven games were played in both 2022-23 (4-3, Canada) and 2023-24 (4-3, Canada).
