Jake Sanderson Replaces Quinn Hughes On Team USA Roster For Four Nations Faceoff

Event Is Set For Feb. 12-20 In Montreal and Boston

MONTREAL – USA Hockey announced tonight that defenseman Jake Sanderson (Whitefish, Mont.) from the Ottawa Senators will replace Quinn Hughes (Canton, Mich.) on Team USA’s roster for the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.

Sanderson has represented the U.S. on the international stage on three previous occasions, including in the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. He also played for Team USA in the 2024 IIHF Men’s World Championship and was a member of the gold medal-winning U.S. National Junior Team at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Sanderson is currently in his third season as a member of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators where he has played in 211 career games with 105 points, including 19 goals and 86 assists.

An international tournament being staged by the NHL and NHLPA from Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston, the 4 Nations Face-Off will include teams of NHL players representing the U.S., Canada, Finland and Sweden.
