GAME DAY | U.S. National Sled Team Takes on Canada in Reeve Hockey Classic Opener

SAUGUS, Mass. – The U.S. National Sled Team will take on Canada here today at Kasabuski rink in the opening contest of the 2025 Reeve Hockey Classic. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. ET, and the game will stream live on USAHockeyTV.com.

The two-game series, spearheaded by the NHL in cooperation with USA Hockey and Hockey Canada, will support the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and is part of the festivities surrounding the 4 Nations Face-Off, taking place Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston.

Team USA enters this contest with a 9-1-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season after winning the IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia, in October, and the Para Hockey Cup in Charlottetown, P.E.I. in December.

Team USA is 3-1-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) against Canada this season, most recently skating to a 4-1 victory in the Para Hockey Cup title game on Dec. 14. The U.S. and Canada have faced off 127 times across all competitions all-time, and Team USA holds an edge with a 56-13-7-49-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) record.
