Seven players return from the 2024 squad last August, including Annelies Bergmann (Troy, Mich./Cornell University), Grace Dwyer (Wynnewood, Pa./Cornell University), Cassie Hall (South Lyon, Mich./University of Wisconsin), Vivian Jungels (Edina, Minn./University of Wisconsin), Sloane Matthews (Plymouth, Minn./Ohio State University), Sydney Morrow (Darien, Ct./University of Minnesota) and Laney Potter (Cranberry Township, Pa./University of Wisconsin).

The team is comprised of 14 forwards, eight defenders and three goaltenders. Nine different college programs are represented on Team USA with the University of Minnesota leading the way with seven players. University of Wisconsin has five players on the roster, while Cornell University has three. Colgate University, Ohio State University and Northeastern University each have two and St. Cloud State University, University of Connecticut and University of Minnesota Duluth all have one athlete on the team as well. 

Nine players from the silver medal-winning 2025 U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team are a part of the U.S. Under-18 Women’s Select Team, including Kylie Amelkovich (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), Maggie Averill (Wayland, Mass.), Jane Daley (Medfield, Mass.), Sloane Hartmetz (Phoenixville, Pa.), Maddy Kimbrel (Long Lake, Minn.), Annabelle Lovell (Hingham, Mass.), Christina Scalese (West Boylston, Mass.), Morgan Stickney (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) and Chyna Taylor (Louisville, Ky.). 

The roster of 25 is made up of 14 forwards, eight defenders and three goaltenders. Eight states are represented on the team, with nine players from Minnesota, seven from Massachusetts, three from California, two from Illinois, and one from Connecticut, Kentucky, Texas and Pennsylvania.
