Team USA to Play World Juniors Quarterfinal in Saint Paul Jan. 2 at 5 p.m.

U.S. to play at Grand Casino Arena; Other quarterfinal teams and locations confirmed

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. National Junior Team will play its quarterfinal game in the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship on Friday (Jan. 2) at 5 p.m. CT in St. Paul’s Grand Casino Arena the IIHF has announced.

Ticket are available for that game, and all remaining games of the World Juniors, by clicking HERE.

Team USA’s opponent in the quarterfinal round will be determined following the final preliminary round games tomorrow (Dec. 31), including the USA-Sweden contest at 5 p.m. at Grand Casino Arena which will decide the winner of Group A. Both the U.S. and Sweden are undefeated through the first three games of the tournament.

All quarterfinal games will be played on Friday (Jan. 2) and the IIHF also announced that Sweden’s quarterfinal contest will start at 1:00 p.m. from Grand Casino Arena and Canada will play its quarterfinal game at 7:30 p.m. at 3M Arena at Mariucci in Minneapolis.
