Finland won the most recent game, 4-1, in the preliminary round of the 2012 tournament. The U.S. gained a 9-1 win over Finland this past August in its annual National Junior Team Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid, New York. Tyler Motte had 3-1--4 to lead the way, while Jack Eichel 1-4--5 and Alex Tuch 1-2--3.
