GAMEDAY: U.S. Ready to Face Rival Canada

Game Two of Four Nations Cup Set for 1 p.m. ET

Coming off last night's 6-2 victory over Sweden in the opening game of the Four Nations Cup, the U.S. will play rival Canada tonight (7 p.m. local/1 p.m ET) at the Anashallen Arena in Kovland, Sweden.

Prior to the 2015 Four Nations Cup, the last meeting between the two teams

Prior to the Four Nations Cup, the last time the U.S. and Canada met in an international tournament was on April 4 during the 2015 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Malmo, Sweden. There, the U.S. defeated Canada, 7-5, to win the gold-medal.

The last time the two teams played at this event was on Nov. 8, 2014. In that game, Canada defeated the U.S., 3-2, in a shootout.
