GAMEDAY: USWNT Faces Canada in Championship Game at Four Nations Cup

Today is the second meeting between the U.S. and Canada at the 2015 Four Nations Cup. The U.S. defeated Canada, 3-0, on Thursday.

The U.S. and Canada have met 16 times in the championship game at the Four Nations Cup. The U.S. is 5-11 overall and 2-1 in the last three, having lost in 2014 after winning in 2011 and 12. In 2011, the U.S. won 4-3 in a  shootout and in 2012 it was a 3-0 victory. In 2014, it was a 3-2 SO loss.

Kelli Stack leads all players in the tournament with seven points and five assists. Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson has the most goals with four and Monique Lamoureux leads all defensemen with six points (2-4).

Goaltenders Jessie Vetter and Brianne McLaughlin-Bittle both registered shutouts in the games they started at the Four Nations Cup. Vetter won, 3-0, vs. Canada and McLaughlin-Bittle won, 7-0- over Finland.
