COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey today announced the 17-player roster for the U.S. Youth Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team that will compete in the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games from Feb. 12-21, 2016, in Lillehammer, Norway.
All players were selected to participate in the USA Hockey Select 15 Player Development Camp, which took place July 15-21 in Williamsville, N.Y.
The U.S. roster includes nine forwards, six defensemen and two goaltenders. The players represent 11 different states, with Michigan leading the way with five representatives, followed by Arizona, Massachusetts and New Jersey with two a piece.
The U.S. Youth Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team will begin play on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, against Finland.
