37 Players Invited to 2015 USAH Women's Winter Training Camp

Event Held Dec. 27-Jan. 1 at Schwan's Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey today announced the 37 players that have been invited to the USA Hockey Women's Winter Training Camp from Dec. 27, 2015 to Jan.1, 2016 at Schwan's Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota.

Highlighting the roster for the training camp are 21 members of the U.S. Women's National Team that won the Four Nations Cup in early November and 20 players that won the gold medal at the International Ice Hockey Federation Women's World Championship in April.

Of the 37 players on the roster, 23 are World Champions and 15 are Olympians. The 15 members of the silver medal-winning 2014 U.S. Women's Olympic Ice Hockey Team are Kacey Bellamy (Westfield, Mass.), Megan Bozek (Buffalo Grove, Ill.), Alex Carpenter (North Reading, Mass.), Kendall Coyne (Palos Heights, Ill.), Brianna Decker (Dousman, Wis.), Meghan Duggan (Danvers, Mass.), Hilary Knight (Sun Valley, Idaho), Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson (Grand Forks, N.D.), Monique Lamoureux (Grand Forks, N.D.), Gigi Marvin (Warroad, Minn.), Michelle Picard (Taunton, Mass.), Anne Schleper (St. Cloud, Minn.), Kelli Stack (Brooklyn Heights, Ohio), Lee Stecklein (Roseville, Minn.) and Jessie Vetter (Cottage Grove, Wis.).

NOTES: All practices and scrimmages at the 2015 USA Hockey Women's Winter Training Camp will be open to the public. Thirty of the 37 players on the roster took part in last year's camp. Reagan Carey (Colorado Springs, Colo.), USA Hockey's director of women's hockey, will oversee the camp and Ken Klee (Denver, Colo.) will serve as head coach. Klee will be assisted by Robb Stauber (Medina, Minn.), Chris Tamer (Dearborn, Mich.) and Brett Strot (Tampa, Fla.).)
