GAMEDAY: U.S. Faces Canada in Game Three of U18WWC

The 2016 U.S. Women’s National Under-18 Team opened the 2016 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women’s World Championship with a pair of 6-0 wins over Czech Republic on Friday and Russia on Saturday. The U.S. will continue play today against Canada at 7:30 p.m. ET at Meridian Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario. The match-up will be streamed live at FASTHockey.com

The U.S. and Canada are meeting for the 10th time at the IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship. Team USA holds a 2-3-2-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record against Canada with the last meeting taking place on January 12, 2015. The U.S. topped Canada, 3-2, in an exciting overtime victory to claim the gold medal, becoming the first team to do so on home soil.
