GAMEDAY: U.S. Takes on Canada at IPC Pan-Pacifics

The United States takes on Canada at HARBORCENTER (capacity: 1,800) in its second preliminary round game at the 2016 IPC Sled Hockey Pan-Pacific Championship. Tickets are $5 and available either at the door or online at The game will be streamed live at

Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) tallied four points and Bo Reichenbach (Billings, Mont.) stopped all five shots he faced as the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team blanked Team Pan-Pacific, 8-0, to open tournament play. Five different players scored in the victory and Farmer was named the U.S. Player of the Game. For a complete game recap and video, click here.

The U.S. and Canada meet for the third time this season with both previous meetings needing extra time to decide a winner. 
    On Jan. 20, the U.S. fell to Canada in a shootout, 3-2, in the preliminary round of the 2016 World Sled Hockey Challenge. In a rematch in the championship game, the U.S. topped Canada, 3-2, in overtime.

Last night, U.S. forward Adam Page scored his 35th and 36th career goals to tie him with former national team member, Taylor Lipsett, for most career goals. Additionally, forward Declan Farmer ranks tied for second all-time with 34 career goals.
    Farmer is also two goals away from tying the single-season goals record, 11, currently held by Lipsett and Alexi Salamone. Also, Kevin McKee needs four assists to set the new single-season assists record, currently held by line-mate Brody Roybal who tallied 13 last season.

’s four points last night pushed his team-leading point total to 17 (9-8) through six games this season. His nine goals also lead the team and his eight assists are tied for second. Farmer’s line-mate, Kevin McKee, notched a pair of assists yesterday for his team-leading 10 assists through six games.
