GAMEDAY: U.S. Faces Finland in Game Two of Four Nations Cup

GAME DAY: The U.S. Women’s National Team faces off against Finland today at the 2016 Four Nations Cup. The game will take place at 6:30 p.m. (local) at the Kerava Arena in Kerava, Finland. Prior to the 2016 Four Nations Cup, the last meeting between the two teams at this event took place on Nov. 7, 2015 In that game, the U.S. defeated Finland, 7-0.

GETTING OFFENSIVE: Twelve different players tallied points as the U.S. Women’s National Team topped Sweden, 6-0, in the opening game of the 2016 Four Nations Cup. Hannah Brandt led Team USA with two goals, while Haley Skarupa dished out three assists. Hilary Knight and Monique Lamoureux-Morando also had multiple-point games, notching one goal and one assist each.

A GAMER: In her first international event since 2015, Hannah Brandt notched a pair of goals on Tuesday against Sweden and was named the U.S. Player of the Game.

BETWEEN THE PIPES: Alex Rigsby continued with the strong play she displayed at the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship, this time blanking Sweden on Tuesday to earn the shutout.
