GAMEDAY: U.S. and Canada Set to Play Final Game of Four Nations Cup

Championship Game Takes Place at 11:30 a.m. ET

GAME DAY: Tonight is the second meeting between the U.S. and Canada at the 2016 Four Nations Cup. Canada beat the U.S., 3-2, yesterday in Vierumaki. Tonight’s game will take place at 5:30 p.m. (local) at the Jarvenpaa Arena in Jarvenpaa, Finland. The game will be streamed live on LiveStream.com. Prior to the 2016 Four Nations Cup, the last meeting between the two teams at this event took place on Nov. 4, 2015. In that game, the U.S. defeated Canada, 3-2, in overtime in the championship game.

CHAMPIONSHIP RIVALRY: The U.S. and Canada have met 17 times in the championship game at the Four Nations Cup. The U.S. is 6-11 overall and 3-1 in the last four games, winning in 2011, 2012 and 2015 and losing in 2014. Four of the last five championship games between the two teams have been one-goal games and five of the last seven championship games have gone to overtime or a shootout.

USA vs. CANADA: In the Four Nations Cup, Team USA has a 6-5-6-23-1 record (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) overall.



GETTING OFFENSIVE: Seventeen players have at least one point in the tournament. Monique Lamoureux-Morando leads the tournament with five points (2-3) and Brianna Decker paces the event with four assists and is tied for second with four points.

PERFECTION: Goaltenders Alex Rigsby and Nicole Hensley have registered one shutout each at the Four Nations Cup. Rigsby made eight saves in the opening game versus Sweden before Hensley stopped all 18 she faced vs. Finland on Wednesday.
