A notable performance during November earned the U.S. Women's Four Nations Cup team 'Best of November' honors for the Team USA Awards presented by Dow.

The U.S. Women's National Ice Hockey Team defeated Canada, 5-3, to defend its Four Nations Cup title in Jarvenpaa, Finland. The U.S. opened the tournament with a pair of shutouts over Sweden (6-0) and Finland (4-0), and finished with a 3-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) mark. Team USA outscored its opponents 17-6 on the way to capturing the title for the seventh time (1997, 2003, 2008, 2011-12, 2015-16). The U.S. now has an overall record of 46-6-5-24-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) in 83 career games at the Four Nations Cup.
