Amber Greene (Feeding Hills, Mass./University of Massachusetts) made 58 saves in the contest for Team USA.
Katie Augustine (West Chester, Ohio/Miami University) and Brittani Lanzilli (Medford, Mass./University of Massachusetts) each picked up an assist on Ash's tally 2:46 into the second period.
The U.S. closes preliminary-round play against Japan on Tuesday (Jan. 31) at 9:00 a.m. ET. The game will be streamed live on FISU.TV.
