ALMATY, Kazakhstan – Jordan Gluck (Scarsdale, N.Y./Arizona State University) made 34 saves, but the U.S. Men’s National University Team fell to Canada, 6-0, in its opening game at the 2017 Winter World University Games.

“I thought we competed better as the game went on,” said Sean Hogan, head coach of the 2017 U.S. Men’s National University Team. “Our focus shifts to getting ready for Slovakia tomorrow in what is an extremely important preliminary-round game for us.”

Team USA continues preliminary-round action tomorrow (Jan. 31) against Slovakia at 5:00 a.m. ET. That game will be streamed live on FISU.TV.
