The 2017-18 U.S. Women's National Team was announced live on NHL Network in Tampa, Florida at Amalie Arena on May 5, 2017. The 23 players participated in a Q&A with attendees, held interviews with NHL Network and local media and participated in street hockey games following the ceremony with local girls hockey players.
