The U.S. Women's National Team is currently holding its residency period in the Tampa suburb of Wesley Chapel, as players train at Florida Hospital Center Ice in preparation for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.
Every week, we'll take a look at Team USA's ongoings through social media.
Here's some of what took place this week:
2017 Girls Hockey Weekend
Twelve members of the U.S. Women’s National Team hosted a free on-ice clinic in celebration of IIHF World Girls Ice Hockey Weekend. The clinic, which was held at Florida Hospital Center Ice, gave 20 girls hockey players ages 6-15 the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet and practice skills with members of the U.S. Women’s National Team.

Surprise for Snider Hockey Girls
A select group of Snider Hockey female students thought they were recording a video message to members of the USWNT, but they didn't know who was watching on the other side of the camera. Let's just say they were in for quite the surprise.

Enjoying a Few Days Off
The team enjoyed a short break from residency early this week. Some spent it visiting family and friends while some took some time to relax and recover.
