TODAY: 2019 U.S. Natl Jr Team Head Coach To Be Named on NHL Network's "NHL Now"

Announcement To Take Place During 4-5pm ET Hour; Head Coach Will Lead Team USA at 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship

Today, USA Hockey will reveal the 2019 U.S. National Junior Team head coach on NHL Network's "NHL Now." NHL Network's EJ Hradek, Jackie Redmond and Ryan Whitney will unveil the news.

In addition to announcing the head coach, USA Hockey will also unveil the full coaching staff for the 2019 U.S. National Junior Team that will take part in the 2019 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship Dec. 26, 2018 – Jan. 5, 2019, in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia.

The United States enters the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship having medaled in three-straight World Junior Championships for the first time in U.S. history after earning gold in 2017and bronze in 2018 and 2016. To date, the U.S. National Junior Team has claimed 11 medals, including four gold medals (2017, 2013, 2010, 2004), one silver medal (1997) and six bronze medals (2018, 2016, 2011, 2007, 1992, 1986).
