AJ Mleczko (Griswold), who helped the 1998 U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team win the first-ever Olympic gold medal awarded in women's ice hockey, became the first woman in the booth for an NHL playoff game on April 12, working alongside NBC’s Kenny Albert during the Nashville Predators and Colorado Avalanche round one series. Mleczko recently served as a color analyst during the women’s tournament at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, marking her fourth Games as a hockey broadcaster.

Mleczko’s hockey credentials are impressive; she’s a two-time Olympic medalist (1998-gold, 2002-silver), three-time International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship medalist (1997, 2000, 2001-silver), and Patty Kazmaier and Bob Allen Women’s Player of the Year Award winner (1999).
