Jack Malone Added to 2018 U.S. Junior Select Team Roster

World Junior A Challenge set for Dec. 9-16 in Bonnyville, Alberta

USA Hockey announced today that Jack Malone (Madison, N.J.) has been added to the 2018 U.S. Junior Select Team that will compete in the World Junior A Challenge from Dec. 9-16 in Bonnyville, Alberta. 

Malone is currently in his second full season with the United States Hockey League's Youngstown Phantoms. He has recorded seven goals and eight assists for 15 points through 17 games. The 18-year-old is committed to play college hockey at Cornell University.

Team USA will kick off the World Junior A Challenge with a pre-tournament game against Canada East on Dec. 7 at 9 p.m. ET. The team's first preliminary round game will be played on Dec. 9 against Canada West at 9 p.m. ET.
