NHL Network Will Televise All U.S. Games in 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship

NHL Network to Televise 28 Games in Total Beginning Dec. 26

NHL Network, exclusive television home of the 2019 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship set to take place Dec. 25, 2018 - Jan. 5, 2019 in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, will televise all U.S. games of the tournament and 28 games in total.

In its 11th consecutive year televising the tournament, NHL Network's coverage will begin with NHL Tonight: 2019 World Junior Championship Preview on December 23 at 6:00 p.m. ET, hosted by Stephen Nelson, Dave Starman and Brian Lawton. On Dec. 25, the day before play begins, NHL Network will re-air Team USA's three most recent gold medal-winning performance from 2010, 2013 and 2017 back-to-back-to-back starting at 10:00 a.m. ET.

NHL Network's Stephen Nelson will call Team USA games with longtime NCAA hockey analyst Dave Starman and reporter Jill Savage. NHL Network's flagship studio show NHL Tonight will air regularly throughout the tournament.

The U.S. National Junior Team begins play on Dec. 26 against Slovakia in Victoria, B.C., with opening faceoff set for 6:30 p.m. ET. Team USA, which will begin training camp this Saturday (Dec. 15) in Everett, Wash., enters the tournament seeking a fourth-straight medal after earning gold in 2017 and bronze in 2018 and 2016.
