Each summer, USA Hockey invites players to the National Junior Evaluation Camp/World Junior Summer Showcase, The event is part of the process to select the U.S. National Junior Team that will compete at the International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, which typically takes place each December.

In mid-December each year, Team USA conducts a training camp that leads to the selection of the final U.S. National Junior Team. That roster may include players who did not attend the U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp.

For 2022, a total of 63 players have been invited to the National Junior Evaluation Camp, which will take place from July 24-Aug. 3 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. The players are candidates for the 2022 and/or 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship.
