About The Paralympic Winter Games

The United States Paralympic Sled Hockey Team represents the United States at the Paralympic Winter Games. The event is held every four years directly following the Winter Olympic Games in the same city that hosts the Winter Olympics. First held in 1976 in Ornskoldvsik, Sweden, sled hockey was introduced to the Games in 1994. To date, the United States has captured six medals, including five gold medals (2022, 2018, 2014, 2010, 2002) and one bronze medal (2006).
