USA Hockey and its twelve districts provide player development opportunities for females at the affiliate, district, regional, and national levels throughout the year.
USA Hockey hosts three National Player Development Camps for girls ages 15, 16 and 17 (2002, 2003, and 2004 birth years). The week-long experience at any of the three camps exposes participants to various ‘best practices’ and training strategies so players can return home with the tools to develop their skills over the course of that season (and seasons to come).
There is additional programming available for girls at the affiliate, district, and regional levels, and these opportunities vary by district, but most focus on the 14-17 year-old age range (2002-2005 birth years); however, additional opportunities may be available in some districts for the 2001, 2006, and 2007 birth years.
