The U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team captured its third-ever gold medal at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, becoming the first team to secure back-to-back sled hockey Paralympic gold medals. The season started in Toronto, Ontario, where the U.S. finished second to Canada in the 2013 World Sled Hockey Challenge. Team USA and Canada faced off again in Charlotte, North Carolina, in a three-game series that the U.S. claimed, two victories to one.
