The United States won its third World Sled Hockey Challenge, defeating Russia 2-1 in overtime in the championship game off a goal from Josh Pauls. Team USA finished the tournament with an undefeated 4-1-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record for the first time in tournament history. Declan Farmer finished with a tournament-best nine points (3-6) to become the first U.S. player to lead the tournament in scoring.
