During the 2016 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship, The Players’ Tribune partnered with USA Hockey and embedded veteran photojournalist David Klutho with the U.S. Women’s National Team. Klutho was provided behind-the-scenes access to create an immersive multimedia experience that showcased the team on and off the ice.

The Players’ Tribune will continue to work with Team USA and help promote a national conversation about the U.S. women’s hockey program and the significant impact these women have in the sports landscape, including a series of player profiles in the months ahead that showcase stories about these powerful female athletes and their involvement with USA Hockey on the road to the 2018 Olympic Winter Games and beyond.
